About Glacier LodgeMy name is Kathy Huffman and I've been the owner and operator of Glacier Lodge since 1998. You can email me at glacierlodge395@aol.comIn 1999, an electrical fire burned the main lodge to the ground. It was a great loss for all of us. This was one of many fires that has plagued mountain resorts in years past. I am planning to rebuild the lodge someday. In the meantime, 8 cabins remain open for rental and allow easy access the the beautiful high country. In 2000, I contracted with a frequent visitor to Glacier Lodge to design this website. Her name is Karen and she is always open to suggestion and welcomes your input. You can email her with your comments at karen@kwofford.com. I look forward to hearing from you and visiting with you when you arrive. Pets, including dogs are welcome, and campfires, if used carefully, are allowed in the pits outside each cabin.
