Directions

Big Pine is located on Hwy 395 in eastern California, 15 miles south of Bishop. The town sits at the junction of Hwy 395 and Westgard Pass Road, which leads to Death Valley, the Bristlecone Pine Forest, and the State of Nevada.

Mileages to Big Pine:

Death Valley 147 miles
Yosemite 131 miles
Lee Vining 80 miles
Los Angeles 276 miles
Reno, Nevada 220 miles
San Francisco 367 miles

Once you arrive in Big Pine, turn west on Crocker St. between the Mobile and Texaco Gas Stations. Continue up into the mountains for 11 miles until you see the sign for Big Pine Creek Campgound and Glacier Lodge.

Turn left and cross the Big Pine Creek bridge. After crossing the bridge, turn left to go to RV parkikng and camping sites. Turn right to go to cabins.

The General Store
Check in at the general store which is located to the right after you cross Big Pine Creek.
