Directions

Big Pine is located on Hwy 395 in eastern California, 15 miles south of Bishop. The town sits at the junction of Hwy 395 and the Westgard Pass Road, which leads to Death Valley, the Bristlecone Pine Forest, and the State of Nevada.

San Francisco 367 miles

In Big Pine, turn west on Crocker St. between the Mobile and Texaco Gas Stations. Continue up into the mountains for 11 miles until you see the sign for Big Pine Creek Campgound and Glacier Lodge.

Turn left and cross the big pine creek bridge. Check in at the general store.
