Take a trip by horseback into the picturesque Big Pine Lakes and the Palisade Glaciers. Or take an extended trip on the John Muir or Pacific Crest Trail in the Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks via east side passes. Fish for Golden, Rainbow and Eastern Brook Trout in majestic High Sierra lakes. Custom pack trips of all types are designed to fit your individual or group vacations. Call for information.

Glacier Lodge doesn't sponsor horseback trips and is not affiliated with Glacier Pack Train, but we can provide you with breakfast before you ride, or a warm shower and dinner after you return. Overnite parking is available for a small fee and cabins are available if you need to acclimate to the altitude a day or two prior, or just want to relax in the mountain wilderness after you return.
